Keys#

Space pause · 1-9 weapons · Shift+1-9 select crew · Tab next crew · A autofire · D deluge · S save stations · R return to stations · B board · H aim the harpoon · L close or open all doors · V look inside · F centre on the enemy ship · J break away. Sailing: M map (on the chart: H High route · S supercharge · Enter set sail) · U ship · L log. In a delve: 1-4 choose a crewmate · A choose everyone · I Auto Battle. Esc, in order: closes an open dialog or the menu (a question that wants an answer keeps it); skips the sailing picture; in a battle or a delve drops an aim (a gun being aimed loses its target too), then stops a selected caster's cast (in a delve, their repeat too), then clears the selection (in a delve, then stops anyone repeating); closes the chart or the ship sheet; and otherwise opens the menu.

Controller#

Left stick moves a cursor (right stick fine-aims). A click (hold to drag) · B right-click · X pause · Y next crewmate · LB auto-fire · RB crew to posts · D-pad weapons and crew · View map · Menu the same as Esc (the menu, once nothing else wants it).

Touch#

A tap does what a click does: it presses a button, chooses a crewmate, aims a weapon or a spell, and sends the chosen crew to a room. Hold a finger on anything (a button, an icon, a number, a room on either ship) to read about it; lifting the finger then presses nothing. Pinch to zoom, and drag with one finger to move the view. All chooses the whole crew; the button with two heads and a plus lets you choose several, by tapping them one by one or by dragging a box round them.

On a phone the battle's panels share one dock at the bottom: its four tabs are the guns, the Flow, the spells and your orders, with the speeds and the big pause button beside them. The range is changed by tapping its name (Close, or Long) at the top. The phone's Back button closes whatever is open, and then opens the menu.
